Despite receiving criticism when she first started pursuing her hobby,
Suha, a wife, and a mother have always enjoyed designing bags for the argileh
sets. Being an employee, Suha wanted to find another way to financially support
her family and be the role model her daughters look up to. She found that this
artistic hobby, which she enjoyed, can generate some income that may be
supportive of her family’s financial needs. She is always seeking ways to grow
her business and generate more income to improve her product quality. Even when
she only sells one item, she is grateful for that small moment of success.
Today, her daughters see her as the role model they want to be when they are
all grown up. Despite the full support coming from her family and children,
the 43-year-old artist has been finding it challenging to market her handmade
products and expand her business.
Suha is very optimistic about joining the Crafts Market’s platform. She
believes that since this platform is a non-profit organization, it will
highlight and showcase its products through
professional and effective methods. Suha is certain that the platform
will bring opportunities for her to join different bazaars and events where she
can sell and market her products to a wider range of customers.
