Perhaps the number of women who have mastered the art of fringing the shemagh has diminished, but they have not necessarily vanished. Many women still practice this original craft perfectly, whether for fun or for a living. The shemagh fringing craft is one of the professions that require special skill and outstanding precision, and this is what distinguished the daughter of Assalt, Maha Al-Amayreh.

Maha says that the threads that are held by a hand of love, give the piece of cloth an aesthetic appearance, to be worn by Al-Nashmi, who is proud of it over the non-fringed shemagh, where the wearer of this piece of art and heritage at the same time is illusory. And she adds that she found her goal in the process of fringing the shemagh as a job that generates a monthly income that enables her to bear the burdens of life and the high cost of living.

Maha started her project about seven years ago, and she aspires to increase her sales and spread this heritage by joining the CRAFTS MARKET platform, through which she sees the success and spread of her business at the local and global levels.
