Jordanian shemagh fringing, before it was a profession for the fifty-year-old Khawla Obeidat, was a love story for her, as Khawla began learning the craft of shemagh fringing with her efforts, after she watched the women who were older than her while they were preparing and fringing the shemagh, so she decided to learn this craft. Putting success before her eyes.

Although the shemagh fringing process requires great effort and high concentration in addition to time, Khawla exceeded that and remained committed to achieving her goal, until she was able, and in a short time, to learn this craft professionally until she mastered it, and started fringing many of the shemaghs, and that was in 2015.

After her marriage and due to the increase in financial obligations, Khawla tried to display her products in the shops near her home, in addition to her participation in the bazaars, where she met with success and encouragement from fans of these heritage works.

Khawla dreams to expand the scope of her business, whether inside or outside Jordan, so she joined with passion and enthusiasm the CRAFT MARKET platform which specialized in promoting handicrafts, to help her achieve her dream and increase sales so that she can continue with her project successfully.
