The artist, Arwa Abdullah, started her artistic career as a volunteer with initiatives to beautify the walls of the camps with the “We Draw for the Camp” initiative. Where this initiative aims to carry out a variety of activities in the Palestinian refugee camps in Jordan, by holding workshops to teach children to draw and others targeting women to teach them handicrafts. The initiative also includes volunteers with businesses, university students, etc., and they give something aesthetic to the place, and what draws them to the camp is that it needs development, more creativity, and colors to give hope to the children and people in it.
Arwa then decided to develop her passion in the field of handicrafts, where she worked to develop her skill in drawing by learning to draw on glass, as she states that this art needs to choose the good material of glass with the selection of colors appropriate to the desired shape, To reach the distinctive dazzle of this art, where this art adds touches of creativity and distinction to the home décor. Arwa showed that her drawings range from drawing on pots, coffee and tea cups, dishes, antiques, and various paintings. She also adds that her work in this art has become a profession for her and a source of income at the same time, and she has a good reputation among clients, due to her mastery of work and the good materials she uses.
