When her fingers stroked the thread and the hook, she brought out to the world a beautiful dress, which her daughter bragged to among her friends, and from her she loved working with threads and began her journey between threads and their different colors, and that was 25 years ago.

After retirement, the threads were the companion of Mrs. Mais Abu Alwa, and whenever she felt lonely, she would weave different products of embroidery and macrame. She considers her work a love story for her, as she is in her happiest time while she is working and weaving a new artwork. Embroidery and macrame was a hobby and love for Mais, it was also a source of income that helps her with the expenses of her children's studies and the requirements of life.

Mais was supported by the family and her friends, which encouraged her to develop her business and participate in exhibitions and bazaars, which increased her self-confidence and her feeling of gratitude to the people interested in this work, which made her express her thanks to them by providing training for lovers of this craft in some charities and schools.

Mais' work spread in her area and the surrounding areas, and she received great approval and admiration among the people, so she liked to expand her work and publish it in the widest range, so she searched in more places and the CRAFT MARKET platform was her best choice to spread her products not only in Jordan but all over the world, because this platform plays a major role in marketing handicrafts and encourage to learn  this type of craft.
