The spirit of art was created by the craftsman Bilal Al-Shattoor after the ordeal that Syria was subjected to, their forced emigration from their country and homes, and their refuge in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, which embraced them, but despite the suffering, the artist Bilal went to search for ways to live and survive, he realized that at this stage there is no way for him Except for the handicrafts in which he had previous experiences, he went to the manufacture of furniture from natural woods, and his home was the main headquarters for his work and production, but the difficulty of finding raw materials, and the difficulty of forming natural wood easily due to its irregular shapes, was a challenge that Bilal was able to face from By making a special saw, he helps him implement and develop his designs. In 2019, craftsman Bilal combined his woodwork with resin to form new and stunning designs.

However, a new ordeal knocked on the artist’s door, which is Corona, which ravaged his dreams, and forced him to close the workshop that he had just opened, but that did not limit him from investing his time in learning and participating in entrepreneurship and project management courses, which made him ready to start over and open his project. In 2022, with its own workshop and its production of many distinctive designs with new materials, not only natural wood but also metals such as aluminum and recycled copper.

The artist, Bilal Shtoor, joined the non-profit Crafts Market platform because he is highly confident in its ability to shed light on the use of natural resources in handicrafts and reshape them, hoping that his works and pieces will reach the global scale, not just the local one.
