About 25 years ago, the
craftsman Kamel Al-Balawi turned to the world of metals, especially iron, in
terms of shaping it into large pieces. Then the mechanisms for dealing with
metal developed, and Kamel Al-Balawi began preliminary experiments with it to
shape the metal, an assortment in ways that had a distinct form and content.
The craftsman, Kamel Al-Balawi, sought help from his brother, who is a
professional in the art. The plastic artist helped him with ideas, and
functional and plastic paintings were completed, some of which were sold
internally and some externally.
Dealing with metals is
difficult work in terms of hardness and formation, and in terms of the danger
of working with them.
But Kamel Al-Balawi,
with his advanced skills, was able to make this work easier, as if you were
painting with a brush.
The experience is new
in terms of form and content, but it was to help my brother, who is a visual
artist, to create high-quality metal masterpieces.
