Artist Lubna Al-Saleh started her story with handicrafts in her childhood, as she had a strong inclination to all kinds of arts, and this talent appeared during the art classes at school through handicrafts and embroidery.

With the passage of years and after Lubna graduated from the university with a major in architecture, she had enough time to re-develop herself and her skills in both Brazilian and peasant embroidery, until she was able to master it distinctively, and then moved to the world of crochet, and tried to enter this field by watching many videos on YouTube.

The twenty-year-old girl was impressed by the world of crochet, and the beauty of the pieces of art that can be made with this art, so she worked hard to learn all techniques and develop her skills and abilities in this field, until she started her project, to prove that handicrafts, especially crochet, are not exclusive to the elderly. But girls of different ages can excel in it.

Lubna adds that she loved this art, and tries to spread it by giving educational courses in this field, and participating in bazaars and exhibitions to display her distinctive works, but due to the high cost of the basic materials used in making her works, Lubna struggles hard to develop her passion and the success of her project, which she worked day and night on.
