The art of painting on glass is considered one of the ancient arts, as it was used to add a distinctive luster to the glass, using certain methods of painting, as hand painting is of high value in this field, through the artistic touches that appear through the colorful engravings and decorations.

Rada Abu Ziyad from the capital Amman, one of the craftswomen who excelled in this field, as she worked as an English language teacher in a school, but she had been fond of handicrafts since her university days, as she was participating in exhibitions and competitions at that time, so she decided about for seven years ago to left the field of teaching, and developed her abilities and talent in the field of candle making and glass painting, where she began drawing inscriptions and decorations on dishes made of glass and porcelain, to become artistic paintings that can be kept within the home furniture.

Rada adds that she excels in drawing and embodies it in everything she receives from glass plates, bottles, and dishes, and turns them between her fingers into wonderful masterpieces, as she has published her works through her participation in bazaars and Facebook pages.
