Heritage is closely linked to national identity, and Jordan is a country rich in heritage and cultural elements, so preserving cultural heritage is a national mission that brings many benefits, the most important of which is cohesion among members of society and strengthening the connection to the place. From this standpoint, the artist, Raed Al-Badri, decided to participate in his national duty by preserving the original Jordanian heritage, and spreading it in his own way as much as possible.

Raed obtained a Bachelor’s degree in tourism planning, and at the beginning of his career he worked as a tourist guide in Jordan , and what caught his attention during his work in this field was the lack of locally made heritage products in the Jordanian markets, as most of the products were imported from abroad, such as China and Malaysia, Which generated in him a feeling of the importance of making these works by Jordanian hands, so that the tradition and originality are mixed with the traditional artwork, to produce distinctive pieces made with all passion and love.

Raed began working on his project in the manufacture of pieces and artifacts that reflect the Jordanian heritage in 1992, as he began working on the design of many works using the finest types of clay, porcelain, colors and other materials that enter into his handicraft, where he made pots and Decorative cups, in addition to antiques, scenery and home decorations, in which drawings and various shapes were inserted, and writing in Arabic calligraphy in a distinctive style.

There are currently approximately twenty employees working on Raed project  , and his work is spread around nearly sixty locations in Jordan. He also exports his works to the Arab world and internationally, and by joining the CRAFTS MARKET platform, he aspires to continue his success and expand his work to the largest group interested in the field of handicrafts, and to share and preserve the heritage of his country, through the platform publishing his works using the best ways and with all professionalism.
