Rawand Abu-Hijleh is the founder & owner of Tasmeem (a startup project for home accessories & art furniture). Rwanda has an extensive background in calligraphic and product design which enabled her to embark on this exciting journey. 

Although her business is new to the industry; her passion for entrepreneurship is far bigger than her fear of failing in trying out something new. 

Her primary roles in Tasmeem include designing contemporary home accessories, managing the production line, assisting in developing product features, and ensuring the functionality of the designs. She’s also involved in testing & commissioning, sales, digital marketing, and customer service.

Rawand has successfully participated in countless local exhibitions which were key to the success of her endeavor. She is an active member of Sakeena; a charity working at enabling and empowering orphans and helping them become integrated into the local communities through community service programs and opportunities! A portion of Tasmeem’s profits goes toward Sakeena and its various programs.
