Since he was a child, Yasar Al-Khatib's father used to bring in a range of wooden handicrafts and antiques from all over Europe, and Yasar was so impressed by these unique and elaborate pieces.

After some time, Yasar decided to accompany his father to Europe and to Bulgaria specifically to visit the workshops that carry out this type of industry, where he was surprised by what he saw of a variety of woodwork, made with high craftsmanship. Then he decided, and after a short time, to complete his studies in Bulgaria, to remain close to this type of art. And indeed, while studying, Yasar kept visiting these workshops and watching the craftsmen design and manufacture wooden masterpieces, until he decided to start crafting his own designs from wood.

Yasar returned to Jordan and began producing a set of woodwork, with new and distinctive details, but he faced the problem of some customers not appreciating the time and effort spent in completing these works, and thus underestimating their price.
